Plenty for the dogs to do seating for their owners there’s an area where one can get coffee or snacks. The shower room has hot water and towels and shampoo provided the pond is sealed off. One has to give access to the dogs making it safe. I can’t think of anything else they could do to make it any better.

Is Paws4Play suitable for reactive or nervous dogs?

Yes — the park is private hire, so you have exclusive use for your session with no shared bookings. Many visitors choose Paws4Play specifically for reactive dogs, training and confidence-building.

How secure is the fencing?

The entire park is fully enclosed with dog-proof 1.9m fencing. It’s designed for peace of mind, including for dogs that are nervous, excitable or have unreliable recall.

Is the pond safe and clean?

The dog pond is purpose-built and the water is UV-treated, filtered and professionally checked. As with any swimming, we recommend supervising your dog, especially if they’re new to water and please make use of our dog life jackets (various sizes) and floating long lines.

How many dogs can I bring?

Each booking includes up to 2 dogs. You can add extra dogs during booking if needed. If you’re bringing a larger group (e.g. 16+ dogs), please contact us first as we have free additional parking available on request.

What happens on my first visit?

After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email and your gate code. Please check (including junk file) before you leave home. When you arrive, park up, enter using the keypad, and enjoy the park privately for your booked session time.

What if the weather is bad or the ground is wet?

Paws4Play is open all year round. Conditions can vary with the seasons, so we recommend appropriate footwear if it’s wet. We also have covered areas and umbrellas available.

How to redeem Paws4Play Gift Cards?

Give the gift of freedom, fun and adventure at Paws4Play. A Paws4Play gift card makes an excellent present for any dog lover. Whether it is for a birthday, Christmas, a new puppy, a rescue dog settling into their new home or simply a thoughtful surprise, it gives the recipient something their dog will enjoy too.

Gift cards can be used towards future bookings at Paws4Play, allowing the recipient to choose the date and length of visit that suits them.

Using Your Loyalty Points to buy a Gift Card
Registered customers earn 1 loyalty point for every 30 minutes booked, and each point is worth £1.

Your points will usually appear in your account a few hours after your visit. Loyalty points cannot be applied directly to a booking. They must first be used to purchase a Paws4Play gift card.

How to Redeem Your Loyalty Points
– Sign in to your Paws4Play account.
– Visit the Gift Cards section of the website.
– Choose the gift card you would like to purchase and use your available loyalty points towards it.
– Once the gift card has been created, use it to pay or part-pay for a future Paws4Play booking at checkout (‘Insert the gift card code into ‘I have a promocode’ and ‘apply’).

You can view your current loyalty-points balance by signing into your account or through the Paws4Play booking app (recommended).
